Richard Brown
Director & Script Co-Writer
Since playing Miss Nelly in Frankenstein (2007) Richard has been long-suffering villains, Mother Goose, Santa, the bass-player, the King of the land and of the Seven Seas. He directed Beauty & the Beast, wrote and directed Young King Arthur as well as Goldilocks and the 3 Bearz, and is Producer, FOH, etc. when needed. The Panto is a highlight of his year and as the President, it never stops.
Scott Holland
Script Co-Writer
Scott has been involved with BEPG for over 12 years in various roles. He is the co-writer of this year’s show. He is also the co-founder of Betwixt & Between Theater Company in Basel with Miriam Cohn teaching theater acting courses for kids and teenagers and presenting bilingual productions in and around Basel. Scott is extremely proud of the BEPG for forging ahead to work on and perform a Panto in this challenging time. And a special thanks to our President and Director Richard Brown for seeing the project through from vision to final product with his typical patience drive and vision.
Susan Aeschbach
Assistant Director
Having directed last year's panto "The Little Mermaid" and been assistant director of "Cinderella" the previous year, I'm enjoying being part of the team responsible for this unique production.
Ben Moult
DOP & Production Manager
Ben has many years of experience in stage management including shows on the West End and The Lion King tour that came to Basel itself. Due to the pandemic, his projects cut short and he settled in Basel. To keep busy, he decided to volunteer with the BEPG as production manager.
Chloë Bernard
Choreographer
Chloë has been involved with the BEPG for six years as cast and as choreographer. She has done musical theatre since a very young age. This year is her 4th panto as choreographer and she has taken on the challenge to work around these unusual circumstances.
Susan Brownfield
Music Director
Susan Brownfield is an Honours Graduate of the University of Oregon School of Music where she earned her Bachelor of Music degree. She later completed her Master's degree at Boston's New England Conservatory. After working for many productions in the US, she moved to Europe in 2008 where she continued to perform. She has been the music director for the BEPG for 2 years amongst other projects, and she is the co-founder of Boutique Theatre Basel.
